Marie Borba Obituary

MARIE DUTRA BORBA NOV 12, 1929 - NOV 10, 2010 Marie Dutra Borba, age 80 of Gustine, passed away peacefully Wednesday at her home in Gustine. Mrs. Borba was born in Arcata, CA and was a resident of Gustine for 60 years she previously resided in Stevinson. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. She was a member of the SPRSI (Portuguese Fraternal Organization) and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Borba is survived by her sons, Steve Borba of Gustine, Dennis (Karen) Borba of Turlock; daughter, Sharon (Mark) Borba-Corvello of Hilmar; brothers, Albon (Betty) Dutra of Turlock, Elmer (Carol) Dutra of Denair; granddaughter, Kimberly Williams-Elliott of Gustine and grandson, Kevin Borba of Turlock. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Anthony Borba in 2005. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Monday, November 15th at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine. A visitation will be held at 9:00 am, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 16th at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. Interment will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 17th at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine.
