Millie Curley Obituary

MILLIE VIVIAN CURLEY MAR 30, 1918 - OCT 1, 2010 Millie was born in Union, Utah and grew up in San Francisco, California. She lived in Modesto for 59 years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was fondly known as Mrs. C'' at Modesto Junior College, where she worked for many years as the Office Manager for the Agriculture Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curley and is survived by her children, James M. Curley, Janice Rawe, Susan Steele and JoAnn Bridgeforth. She was the loving grand- mother of 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lakewood Memorial Park. Her family is grateful for the loving care extended to her by the Golden Age Care Home. We also thank Community Hospice for their support. www.modbee.com/obituaries

I have many, many fond memories of Sister Curley and her family. Our families lived on the same street for several years. I shall always remember sweet, loving Millie Curley. It's hard when your mom passes on ~ may God bless you with comfort and all the loving memories of her and her example.
