I had the pleasure of being a supplier to Noel for many years. He was a rare client who could be both 100% business in looking out for the best interests of Foster Farms while remaining fair and friendly. I value our years of working together because he had his priorities in line - family, friends, work, community service and a love of life. It was an honor to have known him. May his family find comfort in the life he lived and impact he made on so many people.

I met Noel and Paulette at Brian and Jen's wedding reception at Del Rio Country Club almost 20 years ago. Noel will always be remembered by his quick smile, his hardy laugh, and his warm and loving ways. We are privileged for having known him and the world is a better place because of his time here.
Blessings to you Paulette especially and Jen, Brian, Brandon and Claire. You are fortunate to have so many beautiful memories.

He help me learn the ins and outs of vehicle safety when I became responsible for the Dairies Vehicle Safety Dept. He always was there to help make sure Foster Farms had the safest fleet of vehicles. I was a Co Nurse at Foster Farms Turkey Div for many years. One day, it was my unfortunate luck to have been involved in a minor accident while driving a Co vehicle. Even thought it was not my fault, I felt very bad at the time. Noel came out to the scene and after asking me a few questions, he assured me that everything was ok. He was the consummate professional with just enough of a personal touch to make me feel at ease. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and send my best to his family

Dear Noel:
You are truly "one of the good ones". You had a way of making everyone feel like a friend from the first time you met them. I will forever remember our most recent trip to the Clearwater River with your brother and how tough you were throughout. I will miss steelhead fishing with you in Idaho, my friend. It will not be the same...

I was the Co Nurse in the Turkey Div in Turlock for many years. One day, I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a minor accident with a Co vehicle. Noel came out immediately to investigate . I, of course, felt very bad even though the accident was not my fault. Noel was so supportive and very kind to me. He was the consumate professional and just all round nice guy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and send my love and sympathy to his entire family

Noel is part of my extended family, and I have known him for about 19 years. I saw him at family gatherings, where his enormous love for his family was evident. He also spoke of his fondness for the drivers that he worked with at Foster Farms. One got the feeling that Noel just loved everyone! I'm pleased that I knew him.

To all of our family and friends. Thank you for all the wonderful stories and kind words about Noel. Your cards, phone calls, and prayers have all helped to comfort me during this time. I know that Noel cherished all of his friends dearly and would be amazed that so many of you can communicate your thoughts through this media. As I reflect back on the many years Noel and I had together, I remember many happy times with each of you. We will all miss this very special man.

I send my prayers and deepest feelings to Paulette, Jenifer and all of the family of a truly wondrous man.

I have been a friend of Noel’s for over 55 years, about the same length of time our sisters, Linda Q. and Lynda P. have been friends. We all grew up in the best of times when life may have been a little simpler and for sure a lot more gentle. It was a time of much fun, joy and laughter and Noel was always the first to laugh or cause another of us to laugh and smile.

Perhaps, at last, I must admit that most of the time Noel did indeed make the best shot of the day and won more money for the “first”, “biggest” and the “most”.

Although the miles have separated us through the years Noel has continually and will continue to reside in his little pocket in my heart. There is a small trout stream that runs through the property here, and even though it is mostly covered by ice today, I built a small fire, burned some mountain sage and shared a little ceremony with Noel. The tears flowed but I tacked a fishing lure high in a tree by the stream so that when Noel passes by he will have a little something to toss into the pure clear current.

Noel, until we all join you where the fowl and fish are ever plentiful, may your bird shot continue to fly straight and may your fishing line always be tight.

May the spirits soften the pain for Paulette, Jenifer and all of Noel’s family and friends.

I first met Noel when I joined the Farm in 1979. His positive attitude was for ever present and he was as much a part of the Farm as the Farm its self. My thoughts and prayers to all his family.

Noel warmly welcomed Mike and I and our daughters to Foster Farms and the West Coast. He knew no strangers. A man who loved his family and loved life, he wanted to share those feelings with everyone. We appreciated Noel's kindness as I am sure many others have during his life. We offer our deepest sympathy to Paulette and his family. He will be missed. Breda and Mike Roberts (Salisbury, MD)

Where do I start, I joined Foster Farms in 1974, and Noel was one of the first people I met. Over the 35 years I spent there , we became good friend. Noel worked for me as Vehicle Safety Manager for many years, and was the best at what he did. Noel was devoted to his family and likewise devoted to the Farm. I can't think of a soul that disliked him. He touched everyone he ever met. I regret not getting to spend time with him after I retired and moved back to Oklahoma, but he was regularly in my thoughts. My prayers go out to the family, especially Paulett. God Bless you all.
