I love you and miss you, Mom. I think of you often, but never more than when my life seems to be going in the wrong direction, and everything seems bleak. At those times I most miss your counsel and comfort. The holiday season has not been the same since your passing, and no matter how I try I just can't muster the same joy as when you were here to share it with us. I love you, Mom.

I remember the day we met. You were so kind and sweet to me. I miss the time we spent together, every time Mark and I would come visit you, we played cards and had a lot of fun. You made me feel like home. I miss you! You'll be always in my heart.

Nadea and I just returned from Green Valley Community Church in Placerville where we attended Christmas Eve Services. You would have liked the church and the service; the choir was amazing and Ken, the Senior Pastor, reminded me of Ed. I asked Jesus to tell you 'Hi' and that I love you. After that I could not stop crying. I miss you so much. I love you, Mom. Christmas just isn't Christmas without you here, although I know that you are with us in our hearts. Merry Christmas, Mom!

I remember Grandpa talking when I was a child about how as you got older that time sped up... and I thought he was just a funny old man... boy was he right! It is hard to believe that this picture was taken the Christmas before you had your first stroke... at 32... a Christmas 43 years ago! We miss you Mom, but know you are here with us in spirit ;-D Love you, Pam

Today has been a very sad day. Christmas is just 5 days away and yet I cannot find any of the joy of the season. I think of you constantly and wish that you were here, though I know how selfish this wish is. I miss you. I love you, Mom.

Grandma,

We all miss you dearly down here. You were such a wonderful grandmother to me, and I'll always treasure the time we spent together. Like Sarah, Santa Cruz will always share a special place in my heart due to the many memories we shared with you there. I know that you are in a perfect place now, beyond the reach of pain and sickness. Our loss on earth is certainly heaven's gain. Thanks again for all the great memories, I love you very much!

November 30, 2010

My dear sister, I was remembering you on your brithday yesterday then went on line and found your guest book. I remember the many happy times we had as we grew up as well as our family discussions on who was the "boss". I know that you are now home with God as well as Mom & Dad, Susan and the many other loved one who have crossed over to the other side. From a purely selfish standpoint Sandra & I will miss your sense of humor and you ready laugh and enjoyment of our times together. We will miss you at our weekly get togethers but our time will come not to distant in the future and until we are you again with Jesus. Until that time we have many great memories to hold on to. Love David & Sandra

Grandma,

Happy Birthday! I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to celebrate with you on this side of Heaven. I so appreciate the sweet times and memories we share of our trips to California over the years. Santa Cruz will always hold a special place in my heart for the time we spent there together. I always appreciated your calm demeanor (except when watching the news or politics), your contentment with what you had been given, and your uncanny ability to set records with all of the skip-bo's you would get in one game! I love you and miss you!
