Paul John Alberti Sr.

PAUL JOHN ALBERTI, SR. JAN 8, 1924 - SEPT 26, 2010 Paul was born in Los Banos. His family moved to Gustine, where he graduated from Gustine High School. He married and lived in Hughson with his family for 27 years and then resided in Turlock for the past 28 years. He was a self- employed farmer. He farmed peaches, almonds and grapes. He also hauled cattle and raised livestock with his children for 4-H & FFA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He also enjoyed playing cards, visiting the Turlock Livestock Auction Yard and going to the park to feed the ducks. There wasn't a John Wayne movie that he didn't see at least five times. He had a great love and passion for vegetable gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. Paul attended Hilmar Covenant Church. Papa's greatest loves were his children & grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Annette (Bob) Diliberto of Hilmar, Joni (Greg) Calistro of Turlock, and sons, Paul Alberti Jr. of Modesto and Kenneth Alberti of Turlock. His five grandchildren, Paul Alberti III, Kristin Diliberto-Anderson, Kayla Alberti, Vincent Diliberto and Andrew Calistro. Brothers Emil Alberti of Los Banos and Charlie Alberti of Stevinson, and his sister Helen Scesa of Gustine. We loved our Papa very much and he will be so missed! We know he is in a better place. Our love and prayers are with him always!!! We love you Papa!!!!
