Our wonderful Grandma was always the person in our family that could always bring us altogether. That happened again today with a beautiful celebration of Grandma's life. It was one of the honors of my life to be able to say a few words on how much she meant to me and my wife, Maggie. When I first took Maggie to meet Grandma, she took to her immediately and welcomed her as if Maggie had been her Granddaughter her entire life. We will miss her dearly. We love you Grandma. Your Grandchildren, David & Maggie.

Our wonderful Grandma was always the person in our family that could bring us altogether. That happened again today in a beautiful celebration of Grandma's life. It was one of greatest honors for me to say a few words. When I took my future wife, Maggie to meet Grandma the first time, she took her into her life immediately, and treated Maggie as if she had been her Granddaughter all her life. Maggie and I loved her dearly. We will miss her everyday. We will think of her everyday. We'll always love you,Grandma. Your Grandchildren, David & Maggie.

The Rose Beyond the Wall
Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it's fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive--
The rose still grows beyond the wall,
Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

Ramona was such a lovely woman, inside and out. She conducted herself with dignity, self respect and honesty. I am so sorry that I let the years go by without visiting with her. My heart felt condolences to her family, especially to Jerry and Janice.
