Sheila Kolsters Obituary

SHEILA K. KOLSTERS NOV 3, 1979 - JAN 7, 2011 Born in Fairfield, CA, Sheila was the beloved wife of Brian Kolsters, and devoted mother to four-year old son Gavin, and 16 month old daughter Mireya. She was a 10-year resident of Modesto, completed her RN degree at Modesto Junior College, and worked at Stanislaus Surgical Hospital. In addition to her immediate family, Sheila is survived by her mother Nancy Roberts of Roseville, CA; father Dan Gallagher (Lori) of Martinsville, Indiana; sisters, Maureen Schreiber (Jacob) of Liberty Lake, WA, Cathryn Mueller of Santa Cruz, CA; stepsister Cassie Riffel of Indiana; parents-in-law, Margie and Larry Snoreen, and Doug and Marsha Kolsters. She also leaves behind a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends. Sheila had a funny and cheeky sense of humor and an incredible power of recall. She was the keeper of so many fun memories, and is so deeply missed by all of us who loved her beyond words. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin & Downs-McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Ave., Modesto, CA. A private family gathering for scattering her ashes will be held at a later date. www.modbee.com/obituaries

Sheila, I was blessed to be able to sneak into your mom's life as an adopted sister and her daughters' lives as an adopted Auntie. I got to attend you and Brian's wedding, baby showers, & lastly see you in your new home. On those occasions, I remember enjoying the quick laughter of you, your family and friends. Your memory will remain a treasure in our hearts always. I promise you that I will remain a sister to your mom and aunt to your sisters. I will try to assist Brian and the children however I can. Until we meet again. Love, Aunt Evan
