Shirley J. Adams
Feb. 18, 1930 - Feb. 11, 2014
Shirley passed away on the 11th of Feb. in Modesto.  At age 83, most of her life was spent in San Francisco where she had a wonderful career working with children at Edgewood Children's Home.  She loved her time there and would reminisce about the children who touched her life.  She was a magician with yarn and her work has been given to many friends and family over the years who will cherish the pieces that she made.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold D. Adams Sr., her mother, Belle M. Adams and her brother Harold D. Adams Jr.  She is survived by her sister Geneva Cadle and her nieces Becky Remillard, Terri Ewald, Susan Perez, Debbie Hardin, Sandy Pratt, Gail Hodge and their children and grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Adams, who she cherished and adored.  Everyone will miss her dearly.
Abiding by her wishes she will be resting at Lakewood Memorial Park and there will be no funeral services.  In lieu of flowers please send remembrances to the ,
