Virginia Faulkner Obituary

VIRGINIA C. FAULKNER OCT 21, 1919 - SEP 23, 2010 Virginia C. Faulkner born in Lancaster, Ca. Oct 21, 1919 passed away peacefully Sept. 23, 2010. She attended Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster where she met her future husband Eldridge R. Faulkner. She married Eldridge when he was in the Air Force making her a military wife and mother who made a home for her family in 10 different places throughout the world. She had been a Cub Scout Leader, Brownie Leader, Girl Scout Leader and Blue Bird Leader. Among many fond memories her family has of her, one favorite is how she made a ice skating pond in the back yard for them in Nebraska getting up every 2 hrs to add more water. She had been a member of the Modesto Doll Club, Native Daughters of the Golden West and Novato Senior Club. Virginia was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mildred (Jones) Clements, her sister Shirley Harris and husband Eldridge. She is survived by her brother Tom Clements, son Eldridge, daughters, Kathy Madsen (Frank) and Jeanne Cordeiro (Al), grandchildren Frank Madsen, Brad Madsen, and Carrie Battin, and great grand-daughter Sydney Madsen. A graveside service will be held Wed. Sept. 29 at 11:00 AM at Ceres Memorial Park, 1801 East Whitmore Ave. Ceres Ca. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity.
