I remember how Uncle Bill and family would drive across country, California to Georgia, in four days. I was amazed as a child and even more so now as an adult. He was a steady consistent example of caring for his family near and far.

My husband Bob and I have rented and lived across the street from Bill and Ethyl for 17 years and over those years we have had the best tomatoes and melons I have ever had! Bill was always right there for us when we needed something fixed or just needed his guidance with the sprinklers. I can still see him walking across the street in his overalls and pushing his wheelbarrow. Bill will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we send our deepest sympathy to Ethyl and all his family.
