Lenora DiDonato passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the age of 83. She was born in Texas, to Vincent Rotta and Lillie Rotta, who both have preceded her in death. They moved to Oakland, California in 1943 where she then graduated from Emery High School in 1948. After high school, she went to work for Hinks Department Store and met Raymond who was serving in the US Navy and they married in 1952. Her family and friends remember her smile, her laughter and her love for the Oakland A's. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond of 56 years and is survived by her daughter Renee DiDonato-Hassna & husband Jeff of Tracy, son David & wife Lynne of Livermore, grandchildren, Amy Larsen (Jeff), Kevin Lundberg, Jason Lundberg, Michael Hassna and Alexandra Hassna, great grandchildren, Jenevieve Lundberg, Cole Lundberg, Alyssa Larsen and Katelyn Larsen. She is also survived by her brother Vince Rotta of Utah, and sisters, Mary Ann Hallum of Pleasanton, Betty Kaufman (Ron) of Livermore and Glenna Rotta of Colorado, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Lenora's life will be on Friday, March 28th, 11:00 a.m. at Graham Hitch Mortuary 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA.
