May 17, 1947 - May 6, 2014
Melvin "Wayne" Walker passed away on May 6, 2014 with family by his side after a courageous battle with MDS.  Wayne was born on May 17, 1947 in Mattoon, IL to the late Clarence and Edna Walker.

While stationed in Germany he met his future wife of 42 years, Helga Walker.  Wayne served in the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service. The two eventually settled in Modesto where he mostly recently retired from Gallo Glass.
