Maxcine Butler-Sawtelle
August 29, 1947 ~ August 22, 2014
Maxcine was one of 10 kids born to Ocie Butler of Arkansas and Lula White of Oklahoma. Maxcine was born in San Francisco, CA.
The family's beloved Mom passed away with her family by her side in Hughson at Alexander Cohen Hospice House on August 22, 2014.  She was a Homemaker who enjoyed spending time working in her yard and spending time with her family.  Maxcine was preceded in death by her Husband Joseph Richard Sawtelle, her Mother and Father and Brothers - Lee, Don and Sister Rita. She is survived by her Son Steven Pombo of Coalinga; her Daughter Christine Silva and Son-in-Law Junior Silva of Atwater; her Grandchildren Courtnery Warda and Michael Warda of Los Angeles; her Brother Dan and her Sisters - Alice, Barbara, Eva and Eileen.
Services - Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock on Wednesday, August  27, 2014 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Service, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, Turlock.  Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
The family wishes to Thank Hale Aloha Convalescent Hospital and Community Hospice for all their support and caring for their Mom for the for the last 23 months.
