Cindy was born at Modesto City Hospital . Lived in Modesto all her life, graduated Davis High School Class of 1976. Attended Modesto business college. Worked at Memorial Hospital business office 34yrs. Member of Women of the Moose - Modesto Chapter #479 25yrs. Attained College of Regents Degree in Orlando, FL in 2009. Baptized "First Baptist Church" 1975 Intrusted at Gift of Prayer which she practiced faithfully. Worked at "Celebrate Recovery" - Leader and cousellor women's group. Riverbank Nazerne Church. Cindy spent almost 2 yrs hospitalized in Memorial Hospital and 3 nursing rehabilitaiton facilities, battling the ravages of Diabeties out of control. She slipped away in her sleep on Friday afternoon to her eternal rest. Survived by one son Robin Irby - Modesto, Mother - Betty Bench-Ward - Modesto, Sister Melissa & Doni Farris - Modesto. Nieces, nephews - Amy Plog, Michael & Dana Bench - Citrus Hts, CA, Jennifer Bench - Fernly, NV, Joseph & Casey Johnson, Mark Bench- Modesto. Preceded in death Father- Fred Bench, stepfather - Donald Ward. Brother Richard Bench.
Visitation Thursday  June 13, 4-8pm ,  Services Friday  June 14 at 1pm at Salas Brothers.  A celebration of life @ Modesto Moose Lodge 821 5th St. Modesto, following Services. Private Burial - Lakewood Cemetery.
