Windell Gibbs Obituary

Windell was born in Rochelle, GA. He spent his life serving the Lord as a Baptist Pastor. He married Betty Milligan on March 18, 1950. They served numerous congreations in GA, CA, and FL. They loved their life in the ministry. They had five children. Windell is preceded in death by his son Windell Gibbs Jr. He is survived by Betty, Marcia Gibbs Gomez, Tim Gibbs, Elizabeth Weber (Claude), and Mary Anne Bolender. As well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 9/7, 11:00 a.m. at Desert Springs Baptist Church in Hesperia, CA.

My Dad the sweetest kindest man I have ever had in my life. I miss you so much and can't believe you are really gone. I love you dad and I'm glad you are finally at peace no longer suffering but long to see you just one more time and talk to you again. My life will never be the same without you!!!! Windell, when first we met, I was a little girl. You married my sister. And, then I was your little Buddy. You bought me my first pair of Ballerina shoes, I tore up the transmission in your car learning to drive a stick shift, you just smiled. Such special memories for me. Though you reside someplace other than this earth, your spirit will always be with us.
