Surrounded by his family, Lloyd passed peacefully into heaven on December 18. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 4, 1930. His family moved to California in the mid-1940s. Upon graduating from Fremont High School in Oakland, California he enlisted in the Army in 1948. He served in the Korean War.

He went forward to receive Christ on December 30, 1973 at First Baptist Church where he was a member from 1974-1997. He proudly served as a usher and taught Bible Studies.
