Lorene Ward
Dec 5, 1930 - Feb 7, 2014
Lorene E. Ward Born Dec 5th 1930 in Littleton, Colorado went peacefully to heaven in her sleep on February 7th, 2014 of natural causes, she was 83.   Lorene (Mom) was a wonderful person with an amazing spirit.  She was very giving of herself and always had the time to listen and share an encouraging word with everyone she met.  Mom loved the teachings of Jesus and sunsets on the ocean.  Our world will not be the same without her here and she will be missed more than she could ever imagine by so many.  Mom was preceded in death by the love of her life way too soon Joseph (Red) Ward, her son Jody, and her Mother Theresa.  She is survived by her daughter Tina (Paul) Eiden of Silverdale, WA and her son Kevin (Teri) Ward of Modesto, CA.   She is survived by her Granddaughters Jami, Kristin (Spencer), Kelli (Nick), Heidi (Jimmy) and her Grandson Chad who she loved to have great conversations with.  She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; Alec, Taylor, Gabriel, Charlotte, and Madison.  She was a friend and confidant to so many, but I know she would want us to mention her very dear friend Jerry Melin and her beloved little dog Ali.  There will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life in her most favorite place on earth, the Oregon Coast.  There will also be a Memorial Service for her sometime in June at the Unity Church of Modesto where she was a member and prayer partner for many years.  Date and time will be announced at the church at a later date.
