BAKEL, MICHAEL R. - BULLHEAD CITY  
MICHAEL R. BAKEL Michael R. Bakel, age 64, a 10-year resident of Bullhead City passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born on June 22, 1950 in Denver, Colo. He served in the US Navy for four years on the U.S.S. Chicago and retired from working in the A/C and heating industry as well as a Photo Copier Technician. Michael joined the Elks in 1986 and became Exalter Ruler in 1999-2000 BPOE #2003 in Bellflower, Calif. He was a member of VFW, Moose Lodge and AVMI. He loved to golf, bowl and watch WWE. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Bakel. Michael is survived by his wife, Linda of Bullhead City, Ariz.; son, Brandon Bakel of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepdaughter, Sherri Schneeweis of Orange, Calif.; mother, Jeannine Smith of Colo.; brother, Greg Bakel of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sister, Tami Saathoff of Brighton, Colo.; and one grandson and granddaughter. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Bullhead City Elks #2408, 1745 Emerald Rd. BHC.

CARD, LOUIS B. "PAPA LOU" - Mohave Valley  
LOUIS B. "PAPA LOU" CARD Louis B. "Papa Lou" Card, age 71, Passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, February 4, 2015, surrounded by family in Mohave Valley, Ariz., after a long battle with respiratory disease. Louis was born September 10, 1943 in Elko, Nev. Louis is survived by his five children, Barbie Paris, Julie Meyers, Tammy Willard, Robin McCaw, James McCaw; and 22 grandchildren. It was Louis' wish to donate his body to "Research for Life" A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family of Louis would like to send a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to Hospice Compassus for all the kind words and long talks, but most of all for the amazing care and love you showed our loved one. We could not have done it without you!

DRAMIS, JR., GEORGE J. - BULLHEAD CITY  
GEORGE J. DRAMIS, JR. ~George J. Dramis, Jr., age 76, a 20-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 in Bullhead City, Ariz.. ~George was born September 13, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pa. to parents George Dramis and Helena (Czuba) Dramis. ~George and wife Kathleen (Merrill) Dramis were married in 1994 and moved to Bullhead City, Ariz. from Cherry Hill, N.J. They enjoyed the desert air, spending time at the casinos with friends and the Bullhead City community. George also loved working in the yard and enjoyed the local wildlife in Bullhead City. ~George was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen. ~He is survived by his three children, George, Monique and Joel; and his seven grandchildren. ~As with his wife Kathleen, George wanted his death to be meaningful. He donated his remains to medical education and research. He believed countless lives may be saved and quality of life improved by the selfless gift of whole body donation.

HANSEN, WILLIAM GERALD "MR. BILL" - FORT MOHAVE  
WILLIAM "MR. BILL" GERALD HANSEN William Gerald Hansen, age 77, a 25-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz. passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was born on November 7, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to parents, Neils and Lucille Hansen. Bill joined the U.S. Navy in 1957 and was stationed upon the USS Princeton CVS-37. He met and married his wife of 42 years, Beatrice "Cookie." Together they raised seven children in Fontana, Calif. where he owned and operated "Hansen's RV Storage Yard". He then moved to Fort Mohave, Ariz. and worked for the Mohave School District. Bill had a passion for gambling and being with friends at the Avi Casino. He also loved to dance. Bill is survived by his four sons, Bill Hansen of Gardnerville, Nev. Brian, Dennis and Scott Hansen of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; three daughters, Julie and Darlene Hansen of Fort Mohave, Ariz. and Kathleen Hansen of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; two sisters, Elsie Barlow of Yucaipa, Calif. and Karen Sprague of Highland, Calif.; two granddaughters, Katie Hansen-Shaffer and Emily Hansen; great-grandson, Crash Shaffer; and his best friend, "Tess" the family dog. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Hansen residence, 4488 Calle Del Media, Fort Mohave, AZ. Special thank you to Hospice Compassus. Our father had lived a long and happy life and will be truly missed. "We love you Dad"

HULL, RONALD KEITH - GOLDEN VALLEY  
RONALD KEITH HULL Ronald Keith Hull, age 79, went to meet his Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 after a long and valiant battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 21, 1935 to Victor and Irene Hull in Ypsilanti, Michigan. At the age of 10 he moved with his family to Pasadena, Calif. where he spent the rest of his childhood. At 17 he began a four year enlistment , serving proudly with US Air Force in England, France, Germany and Africa. He returned to Southern Calif. where he eventually married and helped raise his two children, Dixie and Hank. Along with Ron's love for his family, his biggest attraction to life has always been the allure of reptiles. As a self-educated Herpetologist, he was devoted to the conservation of reptiles and to public education of all things that slither and crawl. He frequently gave lectures to various organizations and school classes, bringing along live specimens and providing demonstrations, allaying fears and imparting knowledge about the creatures we all share space with. Ron is survived by the love of his life, Louise of Golden Valley, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law, Hank and Carol of Sparks, Nev.; daughter, Dixie of Los Angeles, Calif; sister, Jackie of Golden Valley; four grandchildren, Jake, Jessie, Erin and Silvana; sister-in-law, Peggy of Covina, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Denise, Ricky, Karen, Kurt and Mark. A very special thank you to our friends, the staff of Kingman Regional Medical Center Hospice, particularly, Lenore RN, Chaplain Denny and social worker, Denise. Services will be held at 2:00 p m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Golden Valley Baptist Church, 100 So. Higley, Golden Valley, Ariz.

JENSEN, LENORE J. - BULLHEAD CITY  
LENORE J. JENSEN ~Lenore J. Jensen, age 84, a 41-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. went to her Heavenly home on Friday, February 20, 2015 in Bullhead City after several months of battling infections. Daughter, Melody Jensen and nephew, Stephen Fonte, assisted her for the last several years. She was born on October 22, 1930 in Fargo, N.D. ~Lenore was retired from Sheryl's Hallmark and a member of Christian Joy Church. ~Lenore was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jensen; parents, Oscar and Irene (Tietgens) Peterson; brother, Merlyn; and sister, Ellen Fonte. ~Lenore is survived by her son, Leo (Janelle) Jensen; daughter, Melody; brother, Charles (Margie) Peterson; three grandsons, Tim, Aaron and Sean; her furry shadow, Pierre; and many others that knew and loved her. ~A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Christian Joy Church of the Nazarene, 1746 E. Joy Lane, Fort Mojave, Ariz. Pastor Philip M. Corbin will officiate.

GLENN E. LESLIE, JR. ~Glenn E. Leslie, Jr. age 67, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Bullhead City, Ariz. ~Glenn was born on June 26, 1947 in San Diego, Calif. and moved to Arizona as an infant. ~He is survived by his wife, Judi Leslie; adult children, David, Terry (Jaque), Kristi Bertram, Joey (Tara); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Colleen, and Michael Bertram; Jacob, Lucas, Chloe, Haley, Joie and Zoie Leslie; and great-grandson Izaih Tarin. ~Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Calvary Chapel, 1690 Newberry Dr., Bullhead City, Ariz.

MILLER, PAULETTE RAE - BULLHEAD CITY  
PAULETTE RAE MILLER ~Paulette Rae Miller, age 68, a long-time resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2015 while visiting relatives in St. George, Utah. ~She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Paul R. and Marjorie Burgess on October 30, 1946. She grew up in Idaho and Northern California. She attended NAU in Flagstaff, Ariz. where she obtained her Master's in Education. She retired from teaching after 32 years, the last 28 in Bullhead Elementary teaching 1st grade. ~Paulette always had a kind word and smile, enjoyed life, spending time with her friends, reading, singing in church choir and the a Capella group "The River Rhapsody Chorus" for several years; bowling, playing bridge, traveling, musical theater performances, her cats and birds. She was an active member of Mohave Valley Methodist Church in Fort Mohave and was very strong in her faith. ~Paulette was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Miller. ~She is survived by her brother, John (Carla) Burgess; her sister, Neva (Rick) Crawford; nephews, James and Sean Smith; nieces, Robbi Smith and Kristina Young; and six great-nieces who will miss her dearly. ~A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd, Ft.
