~Dennis Wallace Painter, age 63, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, in Ft. Mohave, Ariz., he was an eight year resident.

~Dennis was born April 28, 1950 in Chicago, IL.

~Dennis (better known as Wally) served as a United States Marine from 1968-1970 with a one year service in Vietnam as a Helicopter Gunner.

~A sought after auto-body man even to this day, he was a detail-oriented man who loved to work on cars. When he wasn't doing a job for someone he spent a lot of his time tinkering on his 1966 Chevy Step Side.

~A friendly soul that always had a welcoming smile to everyone he met and was as quick to make friends wherever he went. A wonderful husband, who enjoyed traveling around the country with his wife and Westie in their motor-home. A great dad who taught us to work hard, do not put things off until tomorrow and that "if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly bear!"

~Dennis is survived by his loving wife Sandra Painter of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; three children, Dennis (Kristie), Chad (Kristie), and Leigh Ann ( Shad) along with five grandchildren, McKenzie, Cody, Quinten, Taylor and Stella; brother Lathern (Len) Painter; sisters, Carlee Foote and Janice McPherson.

~A private Memorial will be held for Wally next spring on the Oregon Coast with his immediate family.
