Jerome Kroll, age 70, a 9-resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz., was the victim of a motorcycle/vehicle accident on Friday, March 29, 2013 in Fort Mohave.
Jerome was a multi-talented, multi-faceted individual who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed a wide variety of sporting activities. He was a Marine Veteran, a Master Gardener, a member of the Sierra Club, Cooper Hiking Club of Kingman, and heavily involved in the community where he lived. He gave freely of his time to volunteer for everything from constructing and painting sets for the "River City Players", who will miss him in his stage debut of "The Education of Angels", to assisting senior citizens with their income tax returns.
He was always first in line to help, whether it was grooming hiking trails or giving a hand to a friend or stranger in need. Never one to let the grass grow under his feet, Jerome was always heading off to his next great adventure, most recently looking toward adding Asia to his destination list. Whether traveling in Europe with Diana, or traveling the trails of Route 66 with his motorcycle buddies, Jerome's sense of adventure was at the forefront.Deep sorrow and heavy hearts mark the untimely passing of a kind and gentle man. Jerome will be sorely missed in the lives of all those he touched with his kindness, good humor and intellectual debating skills. Though our rooms will no longer be lit with his laughter, the memory of it will glow in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diana; daughter, Shannon and husband Dave; son, Yuri and grandson, Ayden; sisters, Marcelline, Elaine, and Joyce and husband, Doug; brother-in-law, Bob; aunts, Phyllis and Margaret; uncle, Frank; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom are devastated by our loss.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jerome's memory can be made to the
