Mary Louise Thomsen, age 82, passed away September 30, 2012, at her home in Fort Mohave, Ariz. She had a long hard battle with cancer and it finally won.

Mary was born July 4, 1930, in Shields, North Dakota. She was married to Louis Thomsen of Fort Mohave for 54 years.

She retired from the Boeing Company after almost 40 years of service. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her dogs, Tippy, Corky and Tammie. She had many interests throughout her life. She loved to travel, play card games, knit, crochet, sew and entertain her friends and relatives.

She always made everyone feel loved and welcome in her home.

Mary is survived by her husband, Louis E.Thomsen of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; three children, Helen (Bill) Smith of Mohave Valley, Ariz., Vicky (John) Jones of Marysville, Wash., and Dan Thomsen of Seattle, Wash; sister, Dorothy Chilson of Bullhead City; four grandchildren, Kelly (Phil) Stevens of Startup, Wash., Tracy Jones of Marysville, Wash., Debbie (Darrell) Goodrich of Duvall, Wash. and John J. Jones of Everett, Wash.; and eight great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and relatives is planned at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Bonanza Cafe, 4610 S. Highway 95, Fort Mohave, Ariz. Light snacks will be served. If you would like to attend, call Helen at (928)768-6311.
