~Roy Jefferson Grimley, Jr., age 86, a Fort Mohave, Ariz. resident died at home on Sunday, February 23, 2014, with his wife, Lessandra by his side and their cats nearby.

He leaves behind many loved ones who remember

Roy for his wit, voice impersonations and

beautiful singing voice.

~He was born in Paterson, N.J., July 31, 1927. Roy served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines. During his younger years he lived in Ridgewood, New Jersey, then moved to Palo Alto, California until 1996 when he moved to Fort Mohave, Arizona.
~Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Jefferson Grimley Sr.; mother, Marion Frank Grimley; sister, Gloria Grimley Hemphill and daughter-in-law Kathryn Carleton.

~He is survived by his wife, Lessandra; daughter, Nancy Carleton-Grimley; son, Jefferson Carleton and their mother, Ruth Tanner Carleton; granddaughter, Melissa; Lessandra's son, Donald (Josie) Weirick; daughter, Constance Weirick; and grand-

daughter, Stephanie.

~A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m on April 12, 2014 at the Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd., Mohave Valley, Ariz. Pastor Eugene Stouffer will officiate.
