Bette Harp, age 88, a long-time resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2018, with her loving husband and children by her side and into the redeeming arms of her Lord and Savior.

Born on February 28, 1930, on Neville Island, Pa. to Svea and Clyde Kring. Bette and her parents moved to California in 1942. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1948. She met and married her dashing young Marine, Billie Harp, on January 16, 1949 in San Bernardino, Calif.

Her golden touch was a great addition to Soroptimist International in Yucaipa, Calif., and the Kiwanis Club of Colorado River for more than 15 years in Bullhead City. She thrived on planning fantastic parties and major events where a grand time was had by all. She also loved to travel whether it be to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Colorado River, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Hawaii or numerous long distance motorhome excursions across Canada and the United States.

She is survived by her one and only true love and husband of 69 years, Billie Harp; her three children, Tom (Dorothy) Harp of Apple Valley, Calif., Paul (Annette) Harp of San Bernardino, Calif., and Karen (Ron) Olsen of Yucaipa, Calif.; Grandchildren include David (Jocelyn) Harp, Kristi (Ray) Zuniga, Laura (Britt) Harp, Sara (Paul) Lopez, Travis (Lindsey) Harp, Heather (Matt) Cilderman, Taryn (Ty) Hudson, Allison (Josh) Gile, Trevor Harp, Tyler Harp, Summer Harp, Lori (Jeff) Collins, Eric Olsen, Brian (Candace) Olsen; 26 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
