~Elizabeth C. Baxter, 69, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyo., after a courageous battle with cancer.
~She was born and raised in Green River, Wyo., on January 14, 1944, to Joseph and Vera (Robinson) Smith. Elizabeth married Raymond Baxter on September 6, 1962, and they had four children together. They later divorced and she moved to Bullhead City, Ariz. She worked in the medical field in Cheyenne as well as in Bullhead City and loved caring for all of her patients.
~Elizabeth was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and enjoyed playing the piano and organ for her church. She loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, and they were her pride and joy.
~Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scott; and a great-granddaughter.

~She is survived by her three daughters, Shauna (Bill) Walton, Tracey (Richard) Merrill of Cheyenne and Laura (Ed) Baxter of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two brothers, Ronald (Karen) Smith and Joseph L. (Judy) Smith; sister, Debra Beatty; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
~Services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Western Hills Boulevard, Cheyenne, Wyo. The family requests that pink (Liz's favorite color) be worn on this day to pay a tribute to her life.

~Interment will take place Friday, November 8, 2013 in Manilla, Utah.
