Norma "Mimi" Talmadge DeLorenzo, age 88, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Norma was born to Talmadge and Beryl Mayfield on August 12, 1929, in Oxford, Mississippi. She moved to Oceanside, California, where she met Anthony "Tony" DeLorenzo. They were married in Yuma, Arizona in 1949.

Since Tony was in the Marines, Norma was a stay-at-home mom raising their two sons, Kenneth and Keith. When the boys got older she went to work for Bank of America in Tustin, Calif.

Norma spent most of her adult life in Orange County, Calif., but moved to Bullhead City in July of 2016, to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her father; mother; and her brother, Kenneth Mayfield.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Donna) DeLorenzo of Lake Arrowhead, California, Keith (DeeDee) DeLorenzo of Bullhead City, Ariz; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Norma will always be remembered for her southern cooking, her love of Gospel music, her laughter, and her devotion to family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, CA.
