Richard (Rich) "Doc" Frazier, age 68, an 8-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed peacefully in slumber on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Bullhead City.

Rich was born on May 26, 1944, at The Hospital of the Good Samaritan, Los Angeles, Calif. In 1962, he graduated from Downey High School, Downey, Calif. He went on to graduate from George Washington University.

CW03 Frazier enlisted in the United States Navy in 1965. The retirement ceremony, which piped him ashore, was at the Naval Hospital, Long Beach, Calif. on July 28, 1988 and enumerated many decorations and awards for his years of active duty. His specialties were: aviation medicine, optician, submarine nuclear medicine. Doc was licensed as a primary care Physician's Assistant, State of Calif., and was a nationally certified P.A.

Friends of Rich's called him "Doc." We, the surviving family, cherish their term of endearment which we perceive has little to do with the black doctor's bag long since stored in a retrieval system that only he could navigate. It has everything to do with being of service, giving that asks no reward, love that has no price tag, and the actual practice of genuine humility. Doc was an accomplished Good Samaritan.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Chet and Maxine Frazier; and brother Randy.
