Stanley George Barnes, age 63, a 25-year resident of Fort Mohave, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Fort Mohave, Ariz.

Stanley, who was an E.R. nurse at Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, Calif., was born on May 7, 1947 in Los Angeles, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Corpsman, and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Viet Nam Service Medal, and the Republic of Viet Nam Campaign Medal.
Stanley practiced chiropractic in Bullhead City for many years. He had a great sense of humor and loved karaoke and sang a mean Willie Nelson. He was an avid fisherman and Dodgers baseball fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Heather Meister.
Stanley is survived by his soul mate, Donna Caltabiano of Fort Mohave; daughter, Jennifer Christian (Ron) of Peoria, Ariz.; two sisters, Anita Lawrence (K.C.) of Camarillo, Calif., and Nancy Michalski of Burley, Idaho; brother, Jamie Burke (Ruth) of Harrisburg, N.C.; stepson, Michael Caltabiano of Yuma, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Chrisy Caltabiano of Roseville, Calif.; stepfather, Kenny Burke of Blackfoot, Idaho; four grandsons and two granddaughters from Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Rd., Bullhead City, Ariz.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 16, 2010, at South Nevada Veteran's Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev. Rev. John Coolidge will officiate.
Arrangements are under the care of Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel.
