~Lloyd Alvin Knauss, age 93, of Laughlin, Nev., passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born in Morristown, Minn. on June 3, 1921.
~Lloyd was a Pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked as a Construction Superintendent for Viola Construction until his retirement in 1974. He enjoyed travel, playing bingo at the Laughlin Senior Center, and spending time with his family. He was also actively involved in the Elks and the Valley Stars Square Dancing Club while living in Oxnard, Calif. before moving to Laughlin in 1974.

~He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, whom he married on March 24, 1945.

~Lloyd is survived by five sons, Michael (Nancy) and Marshall (Shawn) Knauss of Bullhead City, Ariz. Mark (Sharon) Knauss of Bishop, Calif., Mitchell Knauss of Shell Beach, Calif., and Martin (Gail) Knauss of Grand Junction, Colo. Lloyd had 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Havasu (http://www.hospicehavasu.org/).
