~Marilyn S. Burdick age 62, passed away on June 26, 2013, in Ft. Mohave, Ariz. She was born on February 16, 1951 in Joliet, Il.

~We will miss her caring, kind, giving, free spirited personality and warm smile. Marilyn touched the lives of many as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and colleague; and she will continue to live on in our hearts always and forever. She was a dedicated dental hygiene instructor at Mohave Community College in Bullhead City, Ariz., and had an amazing positive influence on her students.

~She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony Burdick (2006) and her father, Edward F. Zivec (1984).

~Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Karen S. (Jason) Bender; her mother, Catherine V. Zivec (Alaimo); her sister, Phyllis A. (Howard "Skip") Weaver; sister-in-law, Kathleen R. (Richard) Prihode, her aunts, uncles,cousins, nephews, her four-legged companions Emma and Gracie, and many friends.

~A celebration of her life will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Mohave Community College, 3400 Hwy. 95, Bullhead City, Ariz., in room 600.

~Those who had the pleasure of knowing Marilyn have been blessed and will carry the fond memories of happy times together. These are the treasures that will keep us strong.
