Joseph Stock Obituary
He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked at GM Powertrain for 32 years, retiring in 2000.
Joe had an infectious laugh and very giving heart that will not soon be forgotten.
After retirement, Joe loved spending time with family and friends. He loved boating, traveling, going to the casino and spending time with his great-granddaughter, Lylah, who was the love of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura "Cathy" Stock; daughters, Julie (Robert) Davis, Jackie (Mike) Wallace and Jill (Dan) Booth; grandchildren, Chelsea, Alexis, Josh, Carisah, Emily and Kyleigh; great-grandchildren, Lylah and LeeAnna; brothers, Gene and Edward Stock; sisters, Sue Stevenson and Betty Helminski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rich Stasiak; and special nephew, Taylor Kitzmiller.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the physicians and staff of Flower Hospital ICU for their compassionate care.
Per Joe's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
