William M. Bardwell Obituary
William M. Bardwell, age 49, of Monroe, died at 11:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31st in his home due to complications from kidney and heart ailments.
Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home where a time of remembrance and sharing celebrating his life will be held at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.
Born August 5, 1969, in Monroe, Bill was the son of Robert and Marsha (Robinson) Stefanski. He was a graduate of Maumee High School and Kent State University where he received a bachelor degree in hotel and restaurant management.
Bill had a passion for music and cooking. He was employed by many Monroe restaurants such as Pete's Garage, Michigan Bar and Grill, Olga's, the former Johnny Joe's, and several Toledo area restaurants. A tender-hearted person, Bill had a soft spot for animals in need.
Bill is survived by parents, Bob and Roseanne Stefanski of Monroe, and G. Michael and Mary Ann Bardwell of Holland, Ohio; daughter, Rachel (Mike) Del Rio of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother, Erik Bardwell of Toledo; sisters, Kristy (Nathaniel) McKibben and Patricia (Joshua) Adkins, both of Monroe; nephews, Noah McKibben and Liam Bardwell; and niece, Nora McKibben.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Wortman.
Memorial donations are suggested to Great Lakes Dialysis Center in Monroe or to Humane Society of Monroe County.
