Carl Brant Obituary

Carl Francis "Frank" Brant, 55, of Rapid City, Mich. passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, tragically in a house fire.
Frank was born Dec. 10, 1960 in Trenton, Mich. to Carl and Janet Brant.
Frank grew up in Maybee, Mich. He was a 1979 graduate of Monroe High School.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, golf and hunting. Frank worked as a tradesman for many years, talented in many different aspects. He loved woodworking and stone work.
Frank moved to northern Michigan in 2000.
Frank is survived by his parents of Mancelona, Mich.; a brother, James (Nancy) Brant of Maybee; a sister, Leannda (Matt) Bruck of Maybee; a sister, Pam Gardner of Newport; a brother, Paul (Jackie) Brant of West Palm Beach, Fla., and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Martha Brant and Russell and Cora "Lee" Liedel; an infant brother, Lary Brant, and a niece, Chelsea Bruck.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Divine Grace parish, Maybee (St. Joseph's). A luncheon will follow at Divine Grace parish, Carleton (St. Patrick's).

Mr & Mrs Brant, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Carl. He was a close friend of mine in High School and I have not seen or heard from him since. He looked the same in his photo. You raised a fine Son. He was always so kind. My thoughts and Prayers are with all of you.
