George Selestino Padros Claudio

George Selestino Padros Claudio 79, was born October 14, 1925 in Puerto Rico, and died August 12, 2005. He served in the US National Guard and was the pastor for the First Assembly of God. George worked at the Naval Post Graduate School for twenty years when he retired. Because he loved the wharf so much, he worked part-time for Joe restaurant on the wharf. George enjoyed fishing on the wharf for years and had many good friends there. He was known as “George the fishing man.” He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lucy Claudio; daughters, Ruth Buentipo of Seaside, Carmen Kolongowski of Michigan, Nellie Gomez, Rebecca Claudio, Sharon Claudio all of Sacramento and Paula Rosalo of Modesto; son's, Marco Claudio, David Claudio, Chello Claudio and Carlos Claudio all of Sacramento; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He is now in Heaven with his son's. George Jr., and Daniel Claudio. Memorial service held at 2 p.m. Saturday Sept. 3 at Mission Memorial Park, Seaside. Burial will be out at sea…fish on dad.
