Romeo Gose Obituary

Salinas – It is with great sadness that the Gose and Longoria family announces the passing of their beloved son and amazing brother, cousin and so much more that couldn't possibly be put into words. We all knew him as "Lil Romeo", "Big Daddy Ro Roo" and "Mo-Mong", his nick names by his family and friends. Romeo Gose Jr. was 15 years old.
Romeo grew up in Marina and Salinas. He attended Echo Valley School, Los Arboles Junior High, and was a freshman at North Salinas High School. He was very smart and quick to learn. He was well liked by his fellow students. His dream was to be come an artist. He loved to draw.Romeo was an avid "49er Fan". He enjoyed listening to music, watching all sports on TV, family get-togethers and barbecuing. Romeo loved to eat all kinds of foods, but what he loved the most was taking care of his baby brother "Joel" from birth to now, 3 months later. Romeo will always and forever be missed, but not forgotten in our hearts through the Gose and Longoria families.
Romeo is survived by his parents, Romeo Gose Sr. and Beatriz Gose, from Salinas; guardian aunt, Sabrina Longoria Rivera and uncle, Sonny Rivera Sr., from Salinas; brothers, Gabriel Longoria from Oklahoma; Alex Gose and Joel Gose from Salinas; grandparents, Gregory and Jeanette Longoria from Salinas; and Carrie Duran from Mountain View; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will take place on November 17, 2008 from 1:00-9:00 p.m. at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas., with the service at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at Healey Mortuary following to the burial site at Garden of Memories, 768 Abbott Street, Salinas.
Contributions are preferred to Bay Federal Credit Union "In Memory of Romeo" Acct. #31099345.
A car wash will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Circle K, 1240 N. Main Street in Salinas at 8:00 a.m. "In Honor of Romeo".

Rest in Peace Rome I love you so much you are always in my heart ill never forget you it seen like yesturday we were in my room listening to music and laughing and chilling. I love you so much Romeo, and i want more than anything in the world is to bring you back just so I can see you one last time and tell you how much I miss you and love you. It kills me to know that I never got to tell you what you really mean to me. You will never be forgotten little cousin, always and forever you will be in out hearts. I LOVE you mo-mong. I hope you know that. And you know you were always closer than a cousin to me. you are my little-big brother.
