He was predeceased by his parents, A.G. and Joaquina Ventura; brother, Anthony Ventura; sister, Eleanor Sheppard; step-daughter, Laurie Lazzarino; and grandson, Anthony Noto. He is survived by daughters, Valerie (Jimmy) Andrada of Seaside and Vicki (Tim Sheppard) Ventura of Niceville, FL; and their brothers, of whom Frank was very fond, Ernie (Cindy) Cortes of San Jose and Ed Cortes of Seaside; step-daughter, Trisha (Bob) Rice of Marysville; sister, Alice McGreal of Gardnerville, NV; brothers, John (Emily) Ventura of Seaside and Victor (Chris) Ventura of Vacaville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Victor and Chris Ventura for their near-constant vigil with Dad and their assistance, and to Joe and Gerry Cortes for their friendship and assistance.
A viewing will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Bayside Community Mortuary in Seaside. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church in Seaside, with burial at Mission Memorial Park.
