CARMEL?VALLEY – Ruth and her sister, Carol Ann (Connie) were raised in Carmel by their parents, Ruth, an elementary school teacher, and Carl (CP) Burrows, a retired oilman. She attended Sunset Elementary and Carmel High Schools. |
To her last days she was a floral arranger. A homemaker for six and a hostess, she enjoyed and shared her home.
Her husband, Louis, of 67 years, is well, at home.
To family and friends she was Auntie Ruth. An avid tennis player, she played to win. Steve, Tiny, Peggy, Rosa and Betsy formed her circle.
She volunteered for many civic organizations, especially the American Red Cross, and was an early founder of the Carmel Valley Community Youth Center.
