Clinton R. Correll, Sr.
June 12, 1937 ~ June 1, 2012

Seaside, CA - Clint was born June 12, 1937 and taken to be with the Lord on June 1, 2012.
Born and raised in Wasco, CA, he graduated from Wasco High School in 1955 and went on to attend Biola University. Clint served in the Army as a linguistics specialist from 1958 until 1960. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Clint was a mail carrier from 1961 until 1967. In 1967 he became a firefighter and moved to Seaside. Clint retired as an Engineer from the Seaside Fire Department in December of 1999.
Clint was very involved in his church (Cypress Community Church) and ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camp. He participated in many children's ministries, traveling to assist in building homes and helping to bring the gospel to children who otherwise would not have heard the Word of God.
Clint passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family and friends at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Helen Colene Correll; three sons, Clinton Rodney Correll, Jr. (Ana-Marie), Kennith C. Correll, Courtney Don-Alan Correll (Julie) and daughter, Marlia C. Cochran (Joshua); four grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Brittney, and Savannah; along with many beloved nieces, and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 5:00-9:00pm at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street in Seaside. Funeral Services will be held at Cypress Community Church, 681 Monterey-Salinas Hwy., Salinas, CA at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 9, 2012, followed by interment at Mission Memorial Park. A celebration of Mr. C's life will be held at the Seaside Fire Department immediately following interment.
The Correll Family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Bradley, Dr. Feehan, the radiology staff and the entire nursing family at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula for their professionalism, compassion and amazing care during Clint's illness.
