MARINA - Danny J. Borum, 59, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 after a period of failing health. He was born June 30, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Dothan High School in Dothan. He served in the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Germany. He was an avid runner and bicyclist.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Borum; two brothers, Teddy Borum and Dwight Borum. He leaves to mourn a longtime companion, Alice Cole; a son, Danny Borum, Jr.; daughter, Camille Westman; two sisters, Shiela and Marshall; a brother, Curtis; four granddaughters; his aunt, Pearline Haynes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Lovers Point. Any memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey.
