LOVELL DEAN AUSTIN September 15, 1915 - July 31, 2004 MARINA - Lovell Austin, age 88 was born in Lehi, Utah. He served his country in the Army in the 39th Field Artillery Battalion during World War 11. Following the service he made his career in the Painting and Drywall business on the Monterey Peninsula for over 50 years. Lovell was a member of the Monterey Elks Club, Past President of the Monterey County Sheriff's Posse. His daughter, Sharon preceded Lovell in death. Lovell is survived by his wife Wilma, of Marina; his son Richard and daughter in law, Laura of Monterey; and grandchildren; David Crabill of Marina, Lynda Benden of Virginia, Evelyn Weimer of Seaside, Laura McClure of Salinas; and eight great-grandchildren, and a brother Howard, and sister Grace in Utah. A small graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2004, at 11am at Mission Memorial Park at 1915 Ord Grove, Seaside, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would he appreciated.
