Seaside – Regina Patricia Anich, 55, better known to family and friends as Ricki, died on Christmas Eve at Community Hospital in Monterey, after a long illness.
Ricki was born in St. Louis, MO, but spent most of her life on the Monterey Peninsula. She was graduate of Notre Dame High School in Salinas and attended Hartnell College and earned a degree in graphic arts from Silicon Valley College.
She enjoyed music both as a fan and a performer, and was fond of painting.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Schnars and her mother and father Patricia and John Sitar.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; her son, Chris; and her brother, Tim Sitar, all of Seaside.
Visitation will be held at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero in Monterey on Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10 AM with burial at Mission Memorial Park in Seaside to follow.
