Aunt Eileen was my grandfather's sister & her daughter, Elaine was my 1st cousin making Ron my 2nd cousin. My brother Bob grew up with Ron & he and I wish to send our sympathy to you and your family. Although I was about 5 years behind him, it's always hard to lose family. Our prayers go with him.

I can still see Ron's special grin like it was yesterday. He was one of the New Monterey older kids I looked up to. He had a cool Plymouth coupe as I recall.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Linares family. I joined the Marines with Ron out of high school in 1955. We had a lot of good times together in high school and in the Marines. Again, my sincere sympathy to Ron's family.
