SEASIDE, CA - Our eldest brother Edward entered eternal rest August 2, 2012 with his loving brothers and sister at his side after a brief battle with cancer.
Edward leaves behind his children, Edward and Alicia of Redding and David of Iowa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers, John, Robert, James, William and Patrick; and sisters, Arlene Shake, Mary Ann Carbone, Gloria Scott and Sheena Croquet, many numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Almondo Chioino, Frances and Delbert Adams; brothers, Michael, Kookie, and Dickie; wife, Linda Bishop Chioino and daughter, Frances.
He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan as well as a San Francisco Giants/Oakland A's fan who spent much of his time having a Budweiser among friends at the American Legion and Cuz's Sportman's Club in Seaside, watching the games. Edward retired after 30 years from local labors including The Aquarium, Plaza Hotel, Monterey Marriott and Embassy Suites.
An outdoor ceremony will be held from 2:00-3:30pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 1145 Marin Street, Seaside, followed by a reception at The American Legion Post, 591 located at 1000 Plaza Avenue in Seaside.
Rest in peace brother Ed; you will be deeply missed.
