CARMEL - Raymond E. Schreck, a native of Brooklyn, New York, passed away at his home. After receiving his BA Degree from
, he served in the U.S. Army Air Force during
World War II
. Raymond retired as Executive Vice-President of John Breuner Company after a career spanning over 30 years. He and his late wife moved to Carmel 31 years ago.
An avid golfer, Raymond was a member of Corral de Tierra Country Club. He was also a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church, a former
and an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Salinas.
Raymond is survived by his children, Ronald (Kathy) of Gold Hill, North Carolina, Loren (Kim) of Houston, Donna (John) Cleman of Temple City, California and Denise Schreck of Prunedale; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, in 2004 and by his brother, Howard.
Memorial Services have been held. Memorial contributions are suggested to Carmel Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 846, Carmel, CA 93921.
