Levi Isaiah Cook|
September 30, 2007 ~ January 22, 2013
Del Rey Oaks - Levi Isaiah Cook, born September 30, 2007 in Salinas, CA, passed away on January 22, 2013 in Monterey, CA. He attended A.B. Ingham School, and enjoyed riding horses with the Christine Marie's Star Riders program from the age of six months.
Levi was a special little boy with a smile that would melt your heart, while his personality warmed your soul. He always brought hope and happiness to anyone in his presence. Levi enjoyed attending school, especially the school bus ride each day. He always worked hard on his school tasks and was very proud when he accomplished them.Ê
Levi was becoming a little pro on the iPad. He liked listening to stories on his apps, where he learned to turn the pages. He listened to lullabies before bedtime and enjoyed Netflix during the day. Levi had an insatiable love for the stuffed monkeys which filled his room. He loved just being around others and participating in family time with his parents, siblings, and extended family. Most of all, he cherished being Mommy's little boy.
Levi faced many challenges and barriers during his short life but he remained a happy, cheerful, giving little boy. His final gift of organ donation will allow a child to better its life. We were blessed with this precious little boy for a brief time and his spirit has forever left its mark on our lives; his absence will leave an emptiness in our hearts. We will miss you Little Levi.
Levi is survived by his parents, Stanley and Diane Cook; his siblings, Garry, Tim, Matt, Suzi, Jonee, Sasha, Tanya, Brodie, Noah, Sammi, Chris, Zach, Andre, Marlee, Kia, Ashlyn and Max. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gregory, Dale, Kristie Jo, Tony and Sabrina.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 2:00pm at The Kinship Center, 124 River Rd., Salinas, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kinship Center or A.B.
