Marguerite Feeney Obituary
MONTEREY - Marguerite Feeney lost her battle with lung cancer at the age of 54, surrounded by her loved ones.Ê Marguerite was a sister, aunt, daughter, server, partner and friend. Many close to her knew her as Mug, but Baby Nate referred to her simply as "Geet!" Marguerite was a server at our family restaurant Toasties Cafe' for many years. A little visit to her restaurant and you'll get an idea about just how many people in the Pacific Grove community she's touched over the years. Marguerite taught numerous people in the ways of the restaurant business over the years. Many can tell you that no one could quite take your order just the way you like it, warm up your coffee, or meet you at six in the morning every morning and hand you a menu and ask "How would you like that?" like Marguerite.

She lives on through her life partner Cynthia Evans; her mother June Feeney; her brothers; Tim, Sean, Mike, Bobby and sisters; Therese and Colleen, along with countless nieces and nephews, friends and regulars to Toasties.

So let us raise our mugs to Mug in celebration of a beautiful person, to the lives she's touched and the family and friends who love and miss her. Namaste Marguerite! A celebration of life will be held at Carmel Valley Community Youth Center on the 24th of February at 12:00 pm.
