Airman First Class Christian Thor Miltersen Obituary
FT. MEADE, MD – Airman First Class Christian Thor Miltersen, 21, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014. Christian was born on October 26, 1992 at Misawa Air Base, Japan where both parents were stationed as Air Force linguists. Following his military parents, Christian lived in Misawa; Okinawa, Japan; Beijing, China; Canberra, Australia; Monterey, California and for a short time in Prattville, Alabama where he enlisted in the Air Force. Christian was a Mandarin Chinese linguist in the Air Force and graduated from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center with honors. He was currently assigned to the National Security Agency, Ft. Meade.
Christian is survived by his father, Rob; mother, Sheila; his younger sister, Marissa; his grandparents; 18 aunts and uncles and 17 cousins.
Christian will be escorted home with full military honors from Andrews Air Force Base. The funeral will take place at Maxwell Air Force Base Chapel II in Montgomery on March 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
