Mrs. Lord was a wonderful mentor to me as a then-fledgling nurse's aide at Natividad Medical Center. I later became a registered nurse, and then-- with a husband and 2 young children--went to medical school. I'm again at Natividad. Her professionalism, intelligence, and concern for patients and staff were inspirational. My deepest condolences to the whole family.
