Natalie was a 1992 graduate of Dothan High School. She attended Wallace Community College before receiving her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University. She was two classes away from receiving her Masters Degree when she became ill with cancer. Natalie taught fifth grade for two years at Headland Elementary School. Teaching was her calling in life. She loved all children and made each of them feel like they were special. She was a very devoted teacher and loved her job.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Nathaniel Nelson Offstein, Dothan, AL; Malcolm & Virginia Highsmith, Fayetteville, GA; Dewey Gilmore Lee, Sr., & Mary Oliver Lee, Montgomery, AL. Her great grandparents were Eulin Jefferson Lee & Connie Howell Lee, Montgomery, AL and Vera Kaspick, Pensacola, FL. Her great-great grandparents were J.R. Welch and Ella Welch, Opp, AL. She is also preceded by her cousin Crystal Tee Bennett, Atlanta GA.

She is survived by her parents, Gil & Dale Lee; two brothers, Dewey Gilmore Lee, III (Trey and his wife DeLane), younger brother, Jason Dale Lee, and three nieces, Shelby Faye, Emma Peyton & Destiny Alexandra Lee.

Surviving aunts include Rosemary Bennett, Rebecca Wright Gilmer, Tempie Taylor, Bonnie Paulk, Laura Gillespie, Judy Nelson and Becky Lee.

Her cousins include Debbie and Vince Alexander, Nathan Wright (Maxie) , Roderick Wright, Ben Bennett, Ginny Johnson (Donnie), Todd Kelly, D.J, (Stephanie), and Jake Alexander.

Natalie loved cats. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, cooking, going on cruises, going to the beach, playing board games, playing cards, giving theme parties and spending time with her family and friends. She truly loved giving more than receiving.

Her many friends are far too numerous to name, but during her illness she was shown deep friendship by Kimberly Stapelton, Sherri Masland, Janice Redditt all from Orlando, FL and Theresa Littlefield of Headland, AL, and lifetime friend and neighbors Betty and Kenneth Edwards. Natalie will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.

Natalie's family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, and staff members at M.D. Anderson Hospital and Hubbard House in Orlando, Florida for the excellent care Natalie received and the caring manner in which the whole family was treated while they were there.

Natalie's family believes she is the best gift they ever received.

Dale and Gil,

I just wanted to say how very sorry I am about Natalie.
I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Even though we haven't seen each other in a long time, I have very fond memories of being a little girl and spending time with all of you.
Praying God's peace and comfort.
