Golding, Evvie Olson  
Golding, Evvie Olson Evvie Olson Golding peacefully passed away May 15, 2016 after a brief illness. She had been a resident of Montgomery for over 40 years and enjoyed a career in nursing at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Evvie also treasured her Sunday School class, the Encouragers, at Frazer United Methodist Church where she was served as a greeter and decorator for the Spirit events. She was also an avid square dancer. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son Rob Bilski, Jr of Abilene TX, daughter Sheryl Taylor (husband Steve) of Lumberton, NC, granddaughters Joy Yancey (husband Sean and sons Taylor and Mack) of Murfreesboro, TN, Melissa Bilski (sons Dylan and Bryson) and Marinda Bilski of Abilene, TX, grandson Brett Taylor (wife Trista and daughters Kaylee and Kilee), brother Ken Olson (wife Linda) of Del Mar, CA, sister Andrea Cassidy of Albuquerque, NM, sister Marion Olson of Springfield, FL and a special niece Debbie Benton of Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southeastern Hospice at 2002 N. Cedar Street, Lumberton NC 28358. The service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, May 24th, at 2 PM in the Founders Chapel of Frazer United Methodist Church in Montgomery.

Hallmark Sr., Clifton Thomas  
Hallmark, Sr., Clifton Thomas Hallmark, Sr., Clifton Thomas, of Montgomery, passed away May 21, 2016 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Bean Hallmark. He is survived by his children Wendy (Bruce) Gamble, Gwen (Steve) Wolbach, of Birmingham, AL, and Tommy (Nicole) Hallmark of Snellville, GA, four grandchildren Lindsey (Ryan) DeRieux, Stephen Wolbach, Jonathan Wolbach, and Mackenzie Hallmark, two great grandchildren Anna Leigh & Jack DeRieux. He is also survived by his sisters Tess Cunningham and Robbie McCaleb. Cliff graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) in 1943. He worked with the USDA Soil Conservation Service with 40 years of service. He volunteered at Baptist East Hospital for 15 years. He and Sara also led the Young at Heart ministry for their church for 23 years. Cliff was a faithful and longtime member of GracePointe Church. He retired early to enjoy spending more time on his cattle farm in Talladega County. He cherished football Saturdays, tailgating, and cheering on his Auburn Tigers. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Kirkwood by the River in Birmingham for his excellent care over the past year. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25th at 10 a.m. at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel with graveside to follow at 11a.m. A memorial service will be held at GracePointe Church in Montgomery on Thursday May 26 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to GracePointe Church, 1565 Ray Thorington Road, Montgomery, AL 36117.

Parrish, Mrs. Gloria Jaynelle Parrish, Mrs. Gloria Jaynelle, 78, a resident of Wetumpka, AL passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. from Gassett Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Cemetery near Clanton. She is survived by her husband, JC Parrish; daughter, Jay (Johnny) Carothers; siblings, G.C. (Wanda) Robinson, Olin (Linda) Robinson, Jon (Kathy) Robinson, and Cary (Linda) Robinson; in-laws, Wallace (Joan) Parrish, Ernest Lee (Pauline) Parrish, James Aaron (Peggy) Parrish and Rosemary Parrish-Taylor; step granddaughter, Kayla Carothers Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Little, nephew Christopher Little, and step grandson John Carothers, III. Pippin, Louise Dickinson Pippin, Louise Dickinson, 87, died Saturday, May 21, 2016. Her Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 10 AM, at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM at Leak Memory, with Rev. Walter Albritton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Born in Tampa, FL, to William Howell Dickinson and Mildred Odum Dickinson, she resided most of her young life in Columbus, GA, and after marriage to Earl Clayton Pippin, resided in Montgomery, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, her only sister, Sarah Pierce Ingram, and two nephews, Alan and Douglas Ingram. She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Earl Clayton Pippin, Jr. (Taffy), Mark Scott Pippin (Bruce Broaddus), William Lawrence Pippin (Tina), and Lynn Arneson (Karl); grandchildren, Trae Pippin (Jessica), Tommy Pippin (Sherrie), Zach Pippin, Nate Arneson, JoAnna Arneson, & Austin Edwards; great-grandchildren, William, Matthew, Parker, Ellie, & Reagan Pippin, and a niece and nephew, Debra Ingram Brown, and David Ingram. Bass, Ann Herring Ann Herring Bass, 78, of Montgomery, entered life eternal on May 19, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents E.E. and Frances Herring, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughters: Nancy (Mike)Arrighi, Belinda McDonald and Debra Dunson, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 5 sisters and 1 brother, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday May, 23, 2016 from 10 am till 11 am at Leak Memory Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 am at Leak Memory Chapel. Services will be officiated by Doctor Rick Marshall and Rev. Hughie Denton, with interment to follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
