Mr. Willie Lee Andrews, age 73, a resident of Prattville, Alabama, died Thursday, July 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Greater Mallard Chapel AME Church, 109 County Road 9 North, Autaugaville, AL with Rev. Charles Boswell, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Greater Mallard Chapel AME Church Cemetery with Davis Funeral Home Directing. The body of Mr. Andrews will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Barnes, Weltha  
BARNES, Mrs. Weltha Ann Graben, died early Wednesday morning on July 22nd, 2015. She was 91 years old. She was a native of Clay County, AL and was born and raised in the city of Lineville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Julian Frank "Jeff" Barnes, her parents Dora Braswell Graben and Young Louis Graben, and all 9 of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, William Frank Barnes II (Isabel) of Montgomery and her daughter Marilyn Barnes Wilke (Michael) of Chickamauga, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William Frank Barnes, III of Wetumpka, AL, Isabel Watson Barnes of Birmingham, AL, Ann Marie Wilke (Chris) of Austin TX, and John Medwin Wilke of Atlanta, GA. As one of 10 children, Ann was blessed with many nieces and nephews whom she adored. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Barfield Baptist Church, the church she attended in her childhood, in Clay County, AL. In her later years Ann was a faithful follower of the television ministry of First United Methodist Church of Montgomery. It brought her much joy and comfort on Sunday mornings. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church Television Ministry, 2416 West Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, AL, or to a charity of one's choice. BAXTER, ROOSEVELT Roosevelt Baxter, 56, of Montgomery, AL passed away July 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held July 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery, Mathews, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Willie Mae Baxter and three brothers, Larry Baxter, Samuel Lee Crowder and Robert Lee Crowder. Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Denise Baxter; eight step-children; his father-in-law, Roosevelt Demus; four loving sisters, Grace Brown, Montgomery AL, Elvester Harris, South Bend IN, Gladys Davis, East Orange, NJ, Donna Crowder, Montgomery AL; three brothers, Arnather (Bernice) Baxter, Clifford (Betty) Baxter, Montgomery AL, and Tom Baxter, Queens NY; one aunt, Minnie Crowder, Queens NY; and numerous brothers- & sisters-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.

BEASLEY, ROBERT "ALABAMA" Robert "Alabama" Beasley, 68, of Goodfield, IL, passed away at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 19, 1947 in Prattville, AL. Preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Danny. He is survived by his 2 brothers, Cyril (Donna) Beasley of Deer Creek, IL, Richard Beasley of Enterprise, AL; 1 sister, Laura Whitlock of Louisville, KY; 3 half-sisters. Foster parents - (Both deceased) John E. Acreman & Mildred C. Acreman; Cousins (raised like siblings) - Brothers, Charles Acreman, John Ackerman, Ray Acreman, Gary Acreman, and (deceased) Wayne Acreman. Sisters, Lorene Deramus, Eloise Harris, Shirley Thornell, and (deceased) Nell Wyatt. Robert worked for DMI (now CNH) for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Eureka American Legion Post 466 and AMVETS. He was a handyman and very seldom would he turn anyone down who needed his help. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed both Fishing and Hunting. Robert and his brother Cyril spent numerous trips together fishing on the Illinois River and hunting local areas. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and co - workers. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Rock Creek Bible Church in Congerville, IL. Rev. Phil Bachman will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be accorded. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will also be held in Alabama at a later date. Memorials may be made to Unity Point-Methodist ICU, Peoria, IL or to the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall. Chapman, Eva  
CHAPMAN, Eva Sue, 75, born in Troy, AL but longtime resident of Montgomery, AL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 17, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Prattmont Baptist Church in Prattville, AL. Ms. Chapman was a loving and caring person and a dear friend, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Upon graduating high school she worked for Southern Bell / AT&T for 36 years, and then retired in 1994. She had a beautiful singing voice and is now singing in God's choir. Ms. Chapman also was a big Alabama Crimson Tide fan, and enjoyed attending many of their games. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Grady Chapman and Eva Cleone Chapman; two sisters; two brothers. She is survived by her sister, Betty Jane Walker; her special friend, Laura Wheatley and her family, Michelle Spence, Garrett Spence, Kodie Atchison, and Jimmy Wheatley; and extended family members and many friends. Crisman, Lewie  
Lewie Ross Crisman departed this world to be with his Lord on Friday, July 17, 2015. He was 97 years young. As scripture would say, "he was gathered to his People at a good old age". Lewie was preceded in death by his parents, William Otey and Hettye Crockett Crisman, his wife Jean Lassiter Crisman, their only son Lewie Rivers Crisman, his loving companion the last twenty years Mary Jane Wilcox, and all of his siblings. Lewie was the last of his generation. He will be missed. He is survived by two nieces: Connie Crisman Birk and Sarah Crisman Cater, by two nephews: Edwin Gray Crisman and William Otey Crisman III, by an adopted daughter Jan Johnson, and by a host of great nieces and nephews and their children, and many friends who knew and loved him. Lewie was a very gifted and talented person. He was a registered land surveyor active in this field for some 60 years, he was a champion amatuer golfer, avid water skier, planner, inventor, photographer, golf course and golf community architect, and author of several books. In the midst of all of his activity Lewie was also an active advocate for state services to special needs children and adults, and issue that was very close to his heart. A memorial service to celebrate Lewie's life will be held at Lawrence Funeral Home, Selma, AL., Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2PM. Visitation will be from 1-2PM. No flowers please. Instead donations may be made in Lewie's honor to the Lewie Rivers Crisman Memorial Scholarship Trust, Alabama-West Florida United Methodist Foundation, Inc., Dothan, AL. A special thank you to Lynn Alexander and Faye Lane who faithfully and lovingly cared for Lewie the last five weeks. Also, a special thanks to the staff of Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Homestead Hospice for your thoughtful care. You made his homegoing much easier.
